Help when you need it

Let’s get you back to now.

Most things in Teezee are one gesture away. Here are the answers people need most often.

Using the timeline

Scrub time

Swipe horizontally on any timeline—one finger on iPhone or iPad, or two fingers on a Mac trackpad. Every city moves together. Tap Now, or press ⌘0 or Escape on Mac, to return to the current time.

Add a city

Tap the + button, or press ⌘N on Mac, then search by city name or airport code.

Rename or remove a city

Long-press a row on iPhone or iPad, or right-click it on Mac. Renaming is useful for labels such as “Alice · Engineering.”

Settings and sync

Home offsets

Choose a home city in Settings. Every other row will show its difference from home, such as −8h or +16h.

iCloud sync

Your cities and preferences sync automatically through your personal iCloud account. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple Account and iCloud Drive is enabled on each device.

The colours

Each bar represents that city’s actual sky. Teezee calculates night, dawn, daylight, and dusk from the real sunrise and sunset times for the place and date shown.

On Mac

Menu bar

Closing Teezee’s window keeps it running in the menu bar. Click the menu-bar icon to see your cities, or choose a city whose current time should appear in the menu bar itself.

Keyboard shortcuts

Use ← and → to scrub 30 minutes, Shift-← and Shift-→ for six hours, Command-← and Command-→ for a day, ⌘0 for now, and ⌘N to add a city. The full list is under Help → Teezee Help.
