Privacy policy

Evening Windows · Last updated October 9, 2026

Evening Windows has no accounts and no advertising. It sends anonymous play statistics that are not tied to you, and you can switch them off in the game.

About this policy

Evening Windows is made by XenoCode Inc. This policy explains how the Evening Windows app, these pages, and support enquiries handle information.

Your progress and settings

Your progress (the rooms you have finished, your best turn counts, and the room you are in the middle of) and your settings (music, sounds, vibration) are saved on your device and stay there. Progress is not synced between devices.

No account is required. The game does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or microphone.

Anonymous play statistics

To learn where the game is too hard or unclear, Evening Windows sends anonymous signals to TelemetryDeck, an analytics service. The only identifier is a random number created when the game first runs, sent in hashed form. It is not linked to your Apple Account, your device’s identifiers, or anything else about you, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites.

The signals describe play, not people: when a session starts and how long it lasts, which room was started, finished, reset, or left unfinished, how many turns, hints, and undos it took, and when the purchase screen was opened, closed, or completed. Each signal also carries the app version, the kind of device system (for example iOS or macOS), and the language the game is shown in.

You can turn this off at any time: tap the cog and switch off “Anonymous stats”. Nothing is sent after that.

Purchases

The one-time purchase that opens every room is handled by Apple through the App Store. The game asks the App Store for the price and whether your Apple Account already owns the purchase. XenoCode does not receive your payment details or your Apple Account information. Apple’s handling of that information is described in Apple’s privacy policy.

When a purchase completes, the anonymous statistics above record that a sale happened, with its price and currency, unless you have turned them off.

No advertising

Evening Windows contains no advertisements and no advertising or tracking SDKs. Your information is not sold or shared for advertising.
